In this 5-week course, beginning on the 15th of April and ending on the 13th of May , you will will learn how to create sophisticated flexible excel models from scratch that can accommodate a variety of investment strategies.

COURSE OUTCOMES

    • Over this five week course you will learn the best practices on how to invest in income generating buildings as well as development schemes.
    • The cash flow models will cover the setup of rent functions for a multi-let property including multiple lease features such as reviews, indexations, void and tenant incentives.
    • The training will also review the structuring of development cashflow from residual appraisal to the distribution of cost through S-curve.
    • Attendants will also learn how to model different strategies of real estate financing whether in the context of investment properties or development properties.
    • The best practices of risk/return analysis will provide you with the foundational knowledge to be applied to African real estate markets.

Natalie invented real estate financial modelling (REFM) as a subject in its own right. She developed the very first course on REFM leading to degree status, MPhil Real Estate Finance at the University of Cambridge.

 

Using her unique integrated KPI led approach, Natalie has consulted on the financial and operational viability for major retail developments and new city projects all over the world. Natalie is committed to sustainability and has a long term interest in urban dynamics.

 

Three years ago in recognition of her contribution to Real Estate Education and Industry, she received a Senior Fellow status at the University of Cambridge, where she has been teaching for the last twelve years.
